The Beach Haven Birkdale Residents Association Photo Competition is back as part of Celebrating Communities Beach Haven and Birkdale 2020 - a month long event with free or low cost activities offered by community organisations designed to bring our communities together. 

The Residents Association encourages everyone to enter - entry is free and all entries will be exhibited in the Beach Haven Hall after judging.  In addition to an overall winner the following category winners will be awarded:

  • Man-made environment
  • Natural environment
  • Active or action sport or recreation
  • Conservation and/or sustainability

Entries are open now and close at midnight on the 8th of March.  Category winners will be selected by our judges from the entire collection.

Prize giving

This year the prize giving will be on Friday (March 20th) night during the exhibition opening times.

 

Exhibition

This year the exhibition will be open on Friday the 20th March from 7pm to 9pm accompanied by drinks and nibbles as well as Saturday the 21st March from 10am to 2pm accompanied with tea and coffee.

Also at the exhibition will be the entries from previous years and we are hoping to run some lectures/workshops.
